Sometimes, an equivalent published in a familiar language can be located, but in cases where the scope of the foreign claims is crucial, even this solution is unsuitable.

Especially in the case of Japanese language documents, a translation can be very costly. RWS recognizes that these translations are for internal information purposes only, and offers translations which have not undergone an independent checking stage at a discounted rate. Typically, these would be translations from Japanese or Russian into English. Translations of extracts (e.g. claims only) from the foreign document are also available.
