Employee engagement

Employee engagement is critical to our sustained success as an organisation. We strongly encourage RWS colleagues around the world to get involved with a broad range of activities. 

In June 2021 we ran a group-wide engagement survey for the first time, and we were very encouraged by the results.

  • 81% response rate 
 

Overall, we averaged 80% favourable scores which we were very pleased with, given the survey was conducted at a time when the pandemic was still proving globally disruptive and RWS was still in the middle of a significant business integration programme.

Strategy
Our highest scoring area was diversity at 88% favourable, with the leadership, strategy and innovation areas all over 80%. On our critical ‘employment recommender’ question, commonly regarded as a key indicator of engagement, we also scored well at 80%.
