RWS Group Welcomes HRH The Duke of Gloucester

The Duke was accompanied by Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher Bt JP, Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Mrs Francesca Skelton DL, High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire, Councillor Mimi Harker OBE, Chairman of Chiltern District Council and Mrs Valerie Letheren, Vice-Chairman, Buckinghamshire County Council. The Royal party was greeted by Andrew Brode, Chairman of RWS Group and Charles Sitch, Managing Director of the UK Translation Division. The Duke was then escorted on a tour of the offices where he met some of the translators and checkers, and showed a keen interest in their work. Following the tour His Royal Highness presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise during a short ceremony attended by RWS staff. Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher read the citation and His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester presented Andrew Brode, the Chairman of RWS Group, with the award and certificate. RWS received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise award for International Trade – the UK’s highest accolade for business success in recognition of achieving continuous growth and commercial success.
