RWS is a market leading provider of patent translation, filing and IP research to legal departments of major corporates and patent attorneys around the globe.
We have a superb opportunity to join a growing marketing team as an Events Marketing Executive based in our head office in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, reporting directly to the Marketing Director.
The purpose of the role is to oversee all marketing-led events with the main objective to generate new business leads and raise brand profile.
You’ll be coordinating the delivery of event marketing activities. This will include booking presence at trade shows, working with sales to maximize exposure, improving our event materials and maintaining stock of materials, stands, banners, brochures and branded promotional items. You’ll manage the events schedule, coordinating internal staff and speakers, booking booth space, logistics, creating staff briefing documents and communicating updates to stakeholders. There will be opportunities to develop our approach to events, negotiate contracts with venues, develop lead nurture campaigns, create post-event follow up mailings and reporting on ROI analysis. Experience of Salesforce and HubSpot would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have a professional, positive, structured approach to event management and be a proactive team player, with B2B event management experience. You’ll have experience in writing marketing communications to support event promotion. You’ll enjoy multi-tasking, managing multiple events and be dedicated to delivering a high-quality events service.
A qualification in marketing, event management or hospitality would be advantageous. Experience in managing virtual events (webinars/podcasts) – scheduling, hosting, tracking registrations/attendance, follow-up and analyzing success would also be desirable.
You’ll have demonstrable experience in a similar role with budget management and have worked successfully with suppliers and agencies.
