Quality Control Lead – Junior

Moravia | Brno | Czech Republic | Full-Time

As our Quality Control Lead, you will work as a point of contact for our client, to record and analyze their feedback, you will be responsible for responding to quality concerns reported by the client or discovered internally, and based on your investigation, you will be improving processes and documentation.

 

WHAT YOU WOULD DO:

  • Communicate with the client and internal departments on a daily basis in relation to quality and processes
  • Participate in content quality control checks before next production phase or final delivery to the client
  • Participate in quality processes mapping; suggest relevant process efficiency measuring criteria
  • Support your team in regards to client requirements, needs and requests such as asset management, reporting, and meetings
  • Follow Moravia-specific and client-specific standards, practices and policies
  • Improve knowledge through training and self-training; share acquired knowledge with peers
  • Make recommendations for process improvements to have a positive impact on quality

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • 2 years of experience working in a quality assurance or publishing/multimedia environment
  • Ability to analytically, critically, and objectively approach problems in the interest of continuous improvement
  • Professional command of written and spoken English
  • Good command of MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Desktop Publishing (DTP) or Multimedia (MM) tools knowledge is an advantage
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate competing work demands and maintain composure under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • Independent, responsible personality and strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis tools (such as fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys) is a big plus
  • Knowledge of CAT (computer-assisted translation) tools and localization processes is welcome
