Senior Director of Business Development – West Coast USA

IP Services | West Coast | United States | Full-Time

Our IP Services division is fast developing in the US and we need to expand our sales team on the west coast. We now have two positions open for Senior Directors of Business Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Detect and prospect new clients/opportunities within corporate in-house IP teams and law firms to develop the US market for patent/IP translation, foreign filing and search services
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline
  • Onboard and manage a portfolio of existing customers

Required skills:

  • Articulate with good communication skills
  • Knowledge of patents
  • Experience of consultative sales in the IP space
  • Proven success in closing new business and retaining existing accounts
  • Organized and self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to work remotely with previous success in performing independently
  • Experience tracking sales activity in a CRM tool (e.g. Salesforce)

 

Based on the west coast, preferably in California, you would work from a home office and/or from one of our west coast locations.
