* The Power of Attorney needs to be submitted to the Patent Office within three months from the date of filing. This deadline is extendable up to six months subject to payment of extension fees. The Israeli Patent Office will accept a scanned copy of the originally signed Power of Attorney form; the original copy will not be required at a later date.


** The English translation (in case of non-EN application) is due within one month of filing before issuance of notification or within 3 months from the date of issuance of a notification.

• A certified copy of the Priority Document should be submitted at the time of filing the application. Late filing is possible within 12 months from the application filing date but will result in a late fee, invoiced by the agent.


• A certified English translation of the Priority Document (if the priority is not in English or Hebrew) is sometimes requested from the Israel Patent Office. The translation needs to be submitted within three or four months from the date of the official notification. If the translation is submitted separately to the certified copy of the Priority Document then a fee is incurred, invoiced by the agent.
