• A certified copy of the Priority Document, along with its certified English translation (in case of non-English language) should be submitted at the time of filing the application. Late filing of these documents is possible up to six months from the application filing date but will result in a late fee. The deadline may again be extended up to 12 months from the application filing date but will result in further fees, invoiced by the agent.


• Spoor & Fisher also require the International Patent Classification (IPC) for an application. This is often available for the priority application, but if not then Spoor & Fisher can classify (additional fees apply).
