  • The 2017 Global Patent & IP Trends Indicator, an annual report issued by RWS, was recently featured in Corporate Counsel. They highlighted a few key findings, including that over 41% of respondents filed more than half of their patent applications overseas in 2016, compared to 34% last year. Read more here.  
  • Netflix’s recent purchase of Millarworld, a comic book company, signals the streaming service is taking a significant step towards becoming less reliant on IP licensing deals. Read more.  
  • Thailand became the 99th member of the Madrid System according to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). This International Trademark System has become a key component in protecting marks internationally. Read more here.
