On Thursday night, December 7th, RWS and Article One Partners (AOP) hosted “IP Best Practices Networking Dinner” at The Annex in Palo Alto, California. The room was filled with IP professionals across patent litigation, prosecution and licensing for a night of networking and giving back.
The Annex hosted a private room, passing hors d’oeuvres and drinks to a buzzing room. The guests were then seated to a five-course meal and three lucky guests won a raffle of nearly $600 worth of wine from On Q Wines.
Another aspect of the event focused on charity. RWS & AOP were able to raise $535 which will all be donated to Flat Broke Farm Animal Rescue, “Where the Humans are Broke, Not the Animals.” The organization is a California based non-profit and 100% of the money goes to the animals. Julie Watters was able to have our donation generously matched by Chevron Corporation. The guests also provided unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots Campaign.
At the end of the evening, Mrs. Caroline Chenique took a few minutes to thank all the guests for attending and for their donations. She briefly introduced Jim Burns of AOP where he was met with several interested questions regarding how AOP works.
