Supported patent filings

* At least a copy of Power of Attorney shall be presented at filing. Original Power of Attorney has to be filed within two months from filing. Please note that the due date is not extendable. No additional costs are involved in filing the Power of Attorney.

** The Uzbek or Russian translation must be submitted within two months from the filing date. However, the claims translation must be submitted at filing.

• Amendments can be made at filing.

• The Uzbekistan Patent Office may request a Russian translation of the Written Opinion and IPER. If a Russian translation of the Written Opinion and IPER is not provided at filing, the Uzbekistan Patent Office is likely to issue a formal Office Action requesting it.

• Late filing of the application is possible within two months after the expiration of the said 12-month period, however, the applicant must present good reasons (not depending on the applicant) showing why the due date was missed.

• A certified copy of the Priority Document and its certified Russian translation must be filed within three months from the application filing date.
