This email has been sent to you via a communication platform licensed to SDL PLC (hereafter SDL), New Globe House, Vanwall Road, Vanwall Business Park, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 4UB, UK, by Accent Technologies, Inc., 1411 Highland Avenue Melbourne, FL 32935 USA and is hosted in the U.S. When using the platform, i.e. clicking on the link, the platform allows us to process and use your email address in connection with data on, whether and when (how many times) the information/documents are opened, whether and how many times they are shared and with whom they are shared in order to understand the popularity of information/documents. If you decline to use the platform, you can still receive the information/documents by asking your SDL contact to resend the information through standard email. 

Personal information and data collected is stored on servers in the United States, i.e. in a country outside the European Economic Area. Please be aware that United States law may not offer the same privacy protections as the law of your jurisdiction. If you do not want your personal information and data to be collected, processed and stored in the United States of America, you should not use the communication platform. 

SDL will use the personal information you provide for legitimate business purposes, such as to facilitate future communications with you, assist you in making a purchase of SDL products, respond to your request for SDL information and materials, or inform you about products or services that might interest you. SDL will share your personal information with authorized third parties in connection with fulfillment of legitimate business uses that are intended to serve you, such as sending you materials requested by you. In addition, SDL reserves the right to collect and share personal information as part of (i) an investigation or response to a violation of SDL terms and conditions of use, fraud, illegal activities or other actions or threats that may damage SDL, SDL’s computer systems, or other property, or injure or threaten SDL's customers or other persons, (ii) compliance with a court order, subpoena, government investigation or other legal process, or (iii) transfer or sale of a business unit. Finally, SDL uses third-party platforms to store, analyze, and manage certain personal and other information, which helps SDL improve its operations, marketing and customer service and more effectively tailor our communications with you.
