This course moves deeper into managing jobs and their component tasks within TMS. A typical TMS system contain multiple file types which must be translated into many languages, with work for different audiences. This course enables project managers to work with this variety of content and workload using TMS’s workflows and tools. The course covers the steps used to assign work to the right people, to make sure that workloads are balanced, to monitor progress and to take action if any troubleshooting is needed. This course is for the TMS users who are involved in the day-to-day management of jobs within the TMS workflows, including project managers and power users both within the customer’s own organization and in the Language Service Provider’s team if translation work is outsourced. The TMS Project Manager course also introduces the concept of TMS projects, which can be used to help monitor and schedule translation work.
