• Arabic and English text is required at filing. If the application is in English, the Arabic translation of title and abstract is required at filing and the remaining Arabic translation can be submitted at the patent office within 60 days from the filing date (extension fees payable).

• The Power of Attorney, assignment and Certificate of Incorporation should be submitted to the Jordanian Patent Office within 60 days from the date of filing the application (extensions are available). All documents need to be translated into English and Arabic. Late submission of missing documents will incur a charge, invoiced by the agent. All supporting documents for filing must be translated into Arabic, invoiced by the agent.

• The Certificate of Incorporation of the applicant company must be certified but no legalization necessary.
