Country Notes: • Regarding the priority document(s), only the priority data (application number, filing date and country) is required at filing.

• If the application is not in English, a certified English translation of the basic application can be filed either at the time of filing (optional), or within two months from the date the office issues notification to furnish such document(s).

• An examination can be requested at the time of filing, but it must be requested within five years of from the filing date. If the office issues a Direction to Request Examination, the examination must be requested within two months from the date the direction is issued.

• Where an invention is a micro-organism, then a deposit of the micro-organism must be made and a deposit receipt must be provided within three months from the date of making the deposit.
