When new business for this language service provider depended on connecting directly to a customer’s content management system (CMS), long-time technology partner RWS had just the thing.
Wessex Translations uses an on-premises translation management system (TMS) from RWS, which supports file transfers via hot folder. But a potential new customer wanted to transmit files for translation directly from its Sitecore CMS.
With this new business depending on a direct TMS-to-CMS connector, Wessex Translations trialed Trados Team, a cloud-based TMS that supports dozens of connectors for content repositories, including one for Sitecore. More than three years later, the solution is still working smoothly for translation in up to 21 languages, satisfying both the LSP and its customer.
