SDL Announces Impressive Panel of Leaders for its Women in Localization Luncheon

Panelists to provide valuable communication skills training to attendees

SDL, a global leader in content creation, translation and delivery, today announced it will host a panel discussion on communication skills and its impact on global understanding during its SDL Connect 2019 conference, October 9-10, 2019 in Burlingame, California. The annual conference is dedicated to sharing the latest developments in language and content management strategies, as well as the technologies to drive global understanding. 

The luncheon will be held on October 10th at 1 pm at the SFO Marriott Waterfront hotel and celebrates SDL’s landmark sponsorship of Women in Localization, an organization that supports diversity across the translation industry. An impressive panel of women will share their experience on overcoming global communication challenges so that women can excel and thrive in their careers. Panelists include: 

  • Author and Founder, Anna Yen, who spearheaded IR efforts for industry leaders like Tesla Motors, MarketWatch, and Pixar Animation Studios. 
  • Social Media Pioneer and C-Level entrepreneur, Lisa Stone, who has used technology to create and scale consumer movements and communities having founded BlogHer, Women.com and Law.com among others. 
  • Brand Strategist and Founder, Sara Schor, who has provided insights and strategy to small and large brands.
