ELEVATE 2025 – the industry’s largest conference

RWS ELEVATE is our flagship online localization conference. We started this event five years ago in response to Covid to support our Trados community during a time of great uncertainty. Since then it’s evolved into something much bigger, an event that brings thousands of professionals together from across the localisation industry and beyond. 

We are thrilled with the success of this year’s event, with over 7,000 registrations and 4,000+ attendees from 129 countries worldwide. 

A couple of years ago we added Language Weaver® – our adaptable and secure machine translation – to the agenda while simultaneously becoming more inclusive through a call for papers, which has brought in incredible presenters from across the industry. And this year, we merged ELEVATE with the RWS Campus online event which previously catered specifically to students and universities. We made the decision to combine these events in order to expose all our audiences to a much broader scope of content, particularly for our academic audience. That made 2025 our most inclusive ELEVATE yet and truly the largest online conference for everyone in localization. 

This year’s themes were centred around three key pillars: Innovation, Motivation and Education. 

Over the course of the three days, our diverse line-up of speakers explored bold ideas, shared inspiring stories and dug into some of the biggest opportunities and challenges facing the localization industry. We kicked off with innovation, learning about the tools, technology, and mindset shifts that are transforming the way we work. 

Then we turned our focus to motivation – hearing from leaders and practitioners about how to stay resilient, passionate and purpose-driven in a world of constant change. And we ended our event with education, because behind every innovation and every success story is a constant drive to learn – these sessions are all about building knowledge, confidence and capability through hands-on technical sessions to thought-provoking panels. We included sessions led by our colleagues here at RWS to highlight the range of careers and job opportunities available within the industry, as well as to give insight into what those roles involve. 

One of our biggest takeaways from both the feedback of our audience members to the insights from our speakers, is that localization has never been more critical or more exciting, than it is today.
