Empowering the vendor community: RWS Workzone Task List
At RWS, we believe that great collaboration starts with great tools. That’s why we’re excited to spotlight a feature that’s transforming how we work together: the Vendor Task List in RWS Workzone. The feature has been available to partners for quite some time but RWS has started an additional adoption campaign so partners may see more and more of it!
The Task List is designed with both long-time partners or newly onboarded partners in mind – streamlining workflows, improving visibility and making it easier than ever to manage projects and payments.
The Vendor Task List can be easiest described as a personalized command center for suppliers. The Task List gives a clear, centralized view of all your active and completed jobs. Depending on the client setup, tasks may be:
- Assigned directly to a partner, or
- Available to claim – giving partners flexibility to choose work that fits their schedule.
Everything you need is right there in one place.
What makes the Vendor Task list powerful:
- Notifications
You can receive automated emails when work is available, cutting down communications. Or opt out of them and access the task list at your leisure. - Real-time access to new jobs
RWS teams can send work quickly and efficiently, reducing delays and keeping projects moving. - Simplified payment process
Completed tasks flow into aggregate purchase orders, making invoicing smoother and more predictable. - Greater autonomy
Partners can claim tasks that suit their availability and expertise on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis, which gives them more control over their workload. - Enhanced transparency
With job details, instructions, and links to GroupShare all in one place, partners will always know what’s expected.
