• The entity type of the applicant is required at filing if the applicant is not the inventor.


• Information on the transfer of rights to the invention from the inventors to the Applicant (e.g. by virtue of an assignment or by employment of the inventors) is required at filing or later. The document evidencing the transfer, such as the deed of assignment, is not required unless later requested by the IP Office.


• For requirements not strictly needed at filing (info above, signed Form 17), these must be fulfilled within three months from the date of issuance of an adverse formalities report.
