Supported patent filings

* Ukrainian translation can be submitted within two months from the 30-month deadline.

** In Ukraine, the excess claims fees are based on the application as published and it is therefore not possible to reduce claims fees by amendment at national phase entry. Any amendments made will incur additional translation costs. Furthermore, an amendment with additional claims will incur further excess claims fees.

* The Power of Attorney should be pre-dated (i.e. it should indicate a date which is prior to the national application filing date). If the form is not filed shortly after the application is filed, a formal Office Action will be issued. The term for responding to the Office Action and filing the requested Power of Attorney is two months (extendable once by maximum six months).

** The Ukrainian translation can be submitted within two months from the date of PO notification.

• A certified copy of the Priority Document needs to be filed within three months from the application filing date (with details needed at filing).
