By enabling up to 40% more performance and providing automatic scaling, Graviton ensures that we don’t waste energy, thereby reducing our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) impact significantly. This performance boost, paired with energy efficiency, is crucial for our language and content technologies. These processors set new benchmarks in performance and energy efficiency, enabling us to run our core technologies—Tridion, Trados, and Language Weaver—more effectively than ever. From an RWS perspective, the move to Graviton translates into substantial energy savings and operational efficiencies, directly contributing to our ESG goals by lowering our carbon footprint and operational costs.

How do we keep our CO2 impact low? By utilizing Graviton's efficiency and selecting the most efficient instance type for our workloads, we ensure minimal energy waste. Graviton's ARM technology base is a significant departure from traditional x86 architecture processors, offering a more cost-effective and power-efficient solution for our applications.
Since moving to these processors, AWS has been with us every step of the way. From initial proof of concepts to collaborating on R&D and impact measurement, AWS has ensured that our performance thresholds for customers are consistently met.
