RWS and IPPH Strengthen Partnership Following UK Visit

RWS recently hosted a delegation from the Intellectual Property Publishing House (IPPH), a leading IP services provider in China, founded by the Chinese State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), at its global headquarters in the UK. Minesoft, co-owners of RWS’s market-leading patent search database, PatBase, also joined the meeting. The visit was an opportunity for RWS, IPPH and Minesoft to exchange ideas, further strengthen their partnership in areas of mutual interest such as business intelligence and IP monetization services delivered on innovative technology platforms, and also included a tour of RWS’s extensive translation production facilities. The meeting followed a series of recent joint initiatives including joint marketing campaigns and a webinar aimed at companies in China wishing to optimize their global patent portfolio management. Mr Zhu MinGang, Chairman of IPPH, thanked the RWS team, led by CEO Mr Richard Thompson, for receiving their delegation and stated that “The fruitful visit to RWS’s headquarters has further strengthened our strategic partnership and provided us with the opportunity to build momentum.
