SDL Response to the Coronavirus: How We Are Supporting Business Continuity for Our Colleagues and Customers

While the real impact of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is still unknown, SDL actively continues to monitor and respond to the situation globally to ensure the health and wellbeing of all our employees and their families, while also reducing any risk in the delivery of our content and language solutions to customers.
Business continuity is one of our key priorities here at SDL. We have activated a global crisis committee and ongoing business continuity plans to manage the overall SDL response across all impacted countries and regions, to safeguard our people and minimize any impact to our business.
Our IT team has built an orchestration platform with virtualized environments, storage and automation tools to help our customers avoid any major operational disruption. Last year, this strategy enabled us to operate during regional disruption in Paris (France), Santiago (Chile), Kaslik (Lebanon) and Hong Kong with no operational downtime. We are deploying the same strategy across all of our Greater China delivery offices in order to maintain business as usual services to customers.
On a daily basis we are reviewing information released by governments and the World Health Organization, as well as global news agencies, and are communicating regularly with our employees and customers, making sure they have what they need to stay healthy and operate as normal.
