Attract more eyeballs through Tridion’s integration with Brightcove

It includes functionality to add clickable CTAs, polls, add-to-cart options, and video overlays for on-demand video interactivity. 

Tridion makes it easy to connect with Brightcove

Tridion’s easy-to-use add-on lets a user get content from a Brightcove account and use it in Tridion Pages and Components.

Usually, handling and managing video is a tedious task, especially for marketers. Marketers need to copy and paste video URLs from another platform into their web pages, rather than natively browse through an externally managed video library. Our Tridion add-on offers a comprehensive solution to let a user browse not only videos but also playlists and players. It offers the functionality to drag and drop Brightcove videos on Tridion pages.

One of the best features of the add-on is that it allows you to associate Tridion templates with Brightcove players. This functionality lets an editor control the choice of player for different webpages. It also allows marketers to customize things like look and feel, mute on/off, etc.

The add-on allows access to the public URL for videos, media players and playlists so that it renders all Brightcove content in Tridion Sites’ user interface, ensuring a true preview of what your web experience will look like once published.

In addition, the add-on allows the user to view metadata of the videos, playlist and players. It also lets users extend Brightcove video metadata with additional Tridion metadata.

Content delivery

When delivering the video, the videos are published with the complete reference to Brightcove metadata through Tridion’s Content Delivery GraphQL APIs. This allows you to build engaging web and mobile experiences, while making use of the video attributes to ensure it is rendered in the most optimal way. The add-on not only helps to reduce the time and efforts but also to build accessible sites.
